Hi, I’m Sean.

I’m a clinical herbalist and death doula living and working in Baltimore, MD.

I support neurodivergent and queer individuals with their mental health using herbal formulations, mental wellness coaching techniques, connection to a community of like-minded individuals, and helpful resources.

Why Neurodivergent and Queer people?

The simple answer? Because that’s who I am, too!

I first connected with herbal remedies to support my own mental health while growing up as a closeted queer kid and undiagnosed ADHDer. Over the years, I studied and studied to learn more about my neurodivergent brain and how I could use herbs, ritual, and psychological flexibility to overcome many of my challenges.

I will admit that I’m no where near perfect, and I have my off days, too. The best way to live with ADHD and ASD is to take those bad days in stride, and learn to build resilience when we don’t get it right.

Queer and Neurodivergent people are traditionally underserved in mental health from a young age.

According to The Trevor Project (2022), rates of suicidal ideation among LGBTQ+ youth have skyrocketed, and the majority of LGBTQ+ youth seeking mental health care were not able to access it. Even more, we still live in a country where conversion therapy can be practiced in certain states.

For many people living with ADHD and/or ASD, the ability to mask neurodivergent traits got us through adolescence and early adulthood. As a result, many of us went undiagnosed or unrecognized and did not receive the support we needed.
